I focused on hind end work for this session with William. Here I am watching for the muscles to relax allowing his hip joint to open slightly. Once those muscles start to relax he can let go of the tension that often accumulates in the hind end after working to carry himself.
The sun streaming through William’s window was so appreciated today! Wow, it felt almost warm in there. It was a cold day at the barn! Tigger had some nice releases. He tends to hold his tension in his very strong front end so lateral cervical flexion is difficult for him. He enjoyed light work on the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
In this session I continue using the Bladder Meridian Technique on William. Now that he is accustomed to the technique I find he lets go of tension sooner than he did when he was still figuring out what I was doing.
