A silly post but I couldn’t resist. This silly boy found the camera today and I swear he was posing. It’s like he knows that he is gorgeous! 💖 That blue backdrop against his brilliant (and fuzzy) winter coat. 🦄

Spring is on it’s way!! Hooray for the first outdoor work of the season. William loves the freedom that the roundpen offers. Here is some lateral rocking which he wanted to show you from several angles. (Please note, I do not regularly swish horses’ tails to get their attention. ☺️I know him very well and … Continue reading William

This girl is such a sweetheart and has beautiful manners. She was wary of bodywork at first but you can tell from this video that changed quickly. Today was the second time I worked on her. She is a big fan of telling me when she is ready to get back to the bodywork after … Continue reading Mira

Sometimes is takes many approaches to find where we can stay. Some sessions the ability to stay present is more elusive than others. 🫧When it is tough to find stillness- go lighter, go slower, get softer. I remind myself this is her body, her life and I am just stepping in to partner alongside for a few breaths. ✨ #mastersonmethod #mmcp #appleyardequine
Fresh life can burst through the scattered debris of the past. #worththewait #goodthingstaketime
I mean how cute can she be? 🖤🤍All the feels plus a lifted thoracic sling (more space between front legs, pecs not pushing forward as much, her right side lifts to be more symmetrical with the left), a straighter hind end and overall softer muscle tone (less definition between individual muscle groups).🤩
Cool product alert‼️ I have free samples of @wild_fed horse feed for anyone that is interested in trying it. After years of trying to get this carried locally, we are close! Reach out if you would like to try it and I can drop off a sample. As you can see from Mira’s face HORSES LOVE IT! 🌱😋 Fingers crossed that our amazing local feed store @trellisfarm will hear how much we all love it. 💚
Attending a clinic with Jillian Kreinbring has been on my get-to list for years. Her ability to see a horse move, explain what is happening and what we might help the horse to unlock through gentle, thoughtful movement is inspiring indeed! Thank you @jkinspiredllc for sharing your magic and incredible anatomical knowledge. I highly recommend taking a course with Jillian, in person or online!
We were lucky enough to catch this snowy ride before the cold front moved in. Just doing what we do. 🐎 #happyhorsehappyrider #feelingsafeisthetraining #appleyardequine
What a fun Masterson Method demo and workshop @equestrianeventsllc! 💜
Lots of trust building and learning how to let go today. This little lady did so well of her first session. She is a clear communicator and I look forward to hearing more of what she has to share. 🧡 #mastersonmethod #newworld #tuneinreleaserepeat
