A silly post but I couldn’t resist. This silly boy found the camera today and I swear he was posing. It’s like he knows that he is gorgeous! šŸ’– That blue backdrop against his brilliant (and fuzzy) winter coat. šŸ¦„

Spring is on it’s way!! Hooray for the first outdoor work of the season. William loves the freedom that the roundpen offers. Here is some lateral rocking which he wanted to show you from several angles. (Please note, I do not regularly swish horses’ tails to get their attention. ā˜ŗļøI know him very well and … Continue reading William

This girl is such a sweetheart and has beautiful manners. She was wary of bodywork at first but you can tell from this video that changed quickly. Today was the second time I worked on her. She is a big fan of telling me when she is ready to get back to the bodywork after … Continue reading Mira

Summer walks are nice 😊 #happyhorse #grazingandlazing
This heat is making everyone snoozy! #happyhorses #weonlywakeuptoscratch #naptime šŸ’¤ #mmcp
It never gets old seeing the changes they can make in one session… soft necks that drape off of the nuchal ligament, lowered heads, upright withers same or higher as the croup, raised backs, scapula angles less steep, back angles matching neck angles, less clenching in the tail head, more full musculature in the hind end. I could go on but the pictures are worth more than words…. šŸ˜‡ #mastersonmethod #equinebodyworker #beforeandafterhorse
Love it when I haven’t set foot in the stall and we are getting in the zone. Video from this newbie’s third session. It’s very clear he is getting the hang of it! #ottb #4yearsold #mastersonmethod
Mira and I have slowed way down. This was her first time riding in the outdoor arena so I used bladder meridian, scapula releases and standing together to help her feel calm and secure. Yes, it means the riding time was shorter today but the quality of time was incredible. #nervoussystemregulation #weareournervoussystem #slowliving #appleyardequine
Playing peekaboo with these cuties. Why work in a stall when the sun is out and the breeze is blowing? 🌤 Last slide is a post bodywork pic of one of Appleyard Equine’s first clients looking very good. Shoutout to @lcm_equestriansunlimited for doing the very best by her horses! 🧔 #equinebodywork #mmcp
Happy 2 year glow up Diego!! Here’s what a forage based diet, expansive turnout, low pressure environment, regular/gentle exercise, anatomy based bodywork, barefoot trimming and a lot of love combine to look like. This guy has been a trooper and makes me proud every single day. šŸ’• I look forward to years ahead as we adventure through life together. #equinebodyworker #lovemyhorse
