Individual equine bodywork sessions follow the Masterson Method techniques.
Sessions generally range from an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the needs of the horse. The goal is to follow the signs given by the horse in order to find and release accumulated tension in the body. Bodywork can go very deep, when done well, so it is important to always follow the horse’s lead.
A first visit begins with an assessment, the bodywork session and then a review with the owner to mutually develop a plan of action for future sessions. After the session, written notes are compiled and sent to the owner via email. This is to help facilitate ease of sharing findings with other members of the care team as well as track changes in the horse over time.
