Not perfect comparison pictures but alas I don’t have anything better. The top photo was taken when I bought her and below is today. I not only see weight loss, but the loss of tension and inefficient muscling. Her 4 beat canter is slowly being replaced with graceful flow. What has helped her the most? Getting out of her way and letting her use her body, for herself. We do a TON of free work and when I do ride, it is on a long rein. 140 inch custom reins to be precise (standard is 108 or sometimes 120). She is loving it. I love her. #horsesarethebestteachers
